The House proudly presents:
Adillac's Very First Art Feature
So what do you do, when suddenly, you do
have time on your hands, but your brain is too confuzzled to art?
Well, you look at other people's art. You sigh, you drool, you get frustrated, there is much wailing and gnashing of teeth, after all, you want
to art, but the old brain is letting you down for now, the world flashes by too fast for you to grab a paintbrush or a pencil.
And then, suddenly, you get a bright idea. Maybe I should try this Art Feature thingie? Quick, find out how it works first - ah well, perhaps peeps will forgive you if you don't get it right the first time round. But you need a theme, a theme
... can't just do any old thing... Cats. Cats are always good. But this place is swamped
with cats, how to pick, how to choose, oh, the dilemmas and the confuddlement!
And then, slowly, bit by bit, you manage to select a small collection. And your struggle the lot into something you hope will look like an art feature journal entry.
And you hope someone looking at it, enjoys it - even if only half as much as you enjoyed constructing it, painstaking as it may have been.
So there it is. Enjoy.
PS: I have no clue whether or how the featured artists get a notification - I guess I'll find out once this is submitted.
But each of you should know that I didn't just pick any old piece to fill a journal - each of these pieces I chose to feature because they touched me in one way or another - thank you for that! <3
